Spiritual Paintings

Spiritual Paintings. The Art of Spiritual Harmony.

Famous Russian artist and art theorist, Wassilly Kadinsky, opened with these words somewhat verbose publication, The Art of Spiritual Harmony : “Every work of art is the child of its age, and in many cases the mother of our emotions.”. He follows with the statement,”…each period of culture produces an art of its own which can never be repeated. Efforts to revive the art-principles of the past will at best produce art that is still born.”.
Artists through history face the self-imposed challenge of trying to be the spiritual teachers of the world. Those who are successful in communicating this spirituality often get rewarded by achieving immortality through their works.
