These are the modern geishas, serene and beautiful. She is there to please and glides through town leaving tantalizing scent of lilacs in her tracks.

Geishas used to be only Japanese in origin, but today they exist everywhere in the magical realm of one’s imagination….

Here are two paintings on the theme of the Geisha in the rain. Both are predominantly red paintings with gold accents. The color and style seems to emit a essence of a Chinese painting.
